I saw several Coleman signs on public rights of way within
Minneapolis today. While Norm may be trying to project a kindler and
gentler image, his campaign is as nasty as ever.

Hi,
We just came home from leafletting after the Mondale rally and found that
our Wellstone, Mondale, and Pentel yard signs, not to mention our neighbors'

and 44th were vandalized with big black freshly spraypainted letters

How fun! I had no idea there was anything like this, already!
My only thought about making it an every-week Saturday or Sunday afternoon event is
that would create a new reason for people from all around the state to come into
downtown Minneapolis to spend the day... whereas a Friday night,

Given the comments from others about the judicial races, I thought I would
send in my plans for voting on them tomorrow, and why.
Note: I'm writing this on my own initiative, independent of all of the
campaign committees of all of these judges, and not as a director or

I suspect I'm going to have to watch my parking quite carefully this

So far we've established that the parking bans are not uniformly enforced
around town. We've offered suggestions for making parking bans work in
areas of the city where residential

Hi List,
Woops! It was a mistake to send this message to the whole list. However,
neighbors are working to improve the Park Avenue and East Lake Street area.
Anyone who would like more information can email myself off-list.

Hello Jason, Helen and Wizard,
How are you guys? We met with CM Lilligren and learned that he would like to
see a more extensive planning effort for the area before deciding on any one
option for the site. What do you guys think about that idea? I think that CM

In response to my comments about towing: My point is that the city has an
iron-clad, one size-fits-all policy about snow removal and leaf clean up.
Except for the snow emergency parking rules, it is usually 7am to 4 pm.

It appears Jim decided to answer the first question in my previous post with

I wanted to respond to Ms. Mann's email regarding Minneapolis Youth Vote. Now in its
third year, Youth Vote has never announced the results prior to Election Day. In the
previous years, results were announced during the evening or the following day. 2002
results will be posted Tuesday evening on

Have you called in this vehicle? We have the same issues in our area and when we call

We had the sweepers come through and nobody was tagged or towed. I wish
that they had.
As usual, the only person who didn't clear their vehicle was the vehicle
that's been parked for weeks out in front of the suspected drug house on our

Folks often say there were no signs on the street when they get a ticket. But the policy in Minneapolis is that the ticketing agent puts a number on the ticket and it is circled. That is the amount of signs he or she could see posted on the street when writing the ticket. I think life is so hecti

Your post gives further evidence that the city departments responsible for
