I have some issues with a school board member being allowed to build up
this kind of debt to the district. As an employee of the school district, I
can tell you that when there's a "computer

The only meeting the school district's reuse group has set up for the Phillips

the Howe and Cooper sites each have 3 meetings set up so far, but the Phillips,
Willard, Hamilton and Holland sites only have one each so
Here is the list of meetings set up so far for community input on the
reuse of closed Minneapolis schools. Since this was sent out yesterday
afternoon from the MPS ReUsePlan group and the first meeting is
Tuesday, I hope they work on getting info out sooner.

There's also a benefit to the Police Federation itself. The more police there
are, the more members they have and the more dues they collect. I'm a big
supporter of unions and of having more police on the street, but in reality the
Police Federation is looking out for it's members and itself,
Theoretically, there is supposed to be community input about the "repurposing"

input about the closings, I doubt
there will really be much community input.
Here's the latest school "repurposing" report link from the

While principals do have a contract, they are assigned to buildings.
Sometimes the staff and parents can influence that decision, but not very
