Would have thought you would see a change in the MQMD folder on any node
connected to the "out" node of the MQOuput node.

Here is a strech.
Suppose I have a message set with 50 messages in it. All different but

Is there a way to query the output message format dynamically to find out if

I am going to make an assumption that you are running on HP-UX.
We experienced the problem as well on MQ 5.2.6 and found that it
was a known problem at the time. I believe it was fixed in CSD8
and is also fixed in MQ V5.3.
Cheers...

I checked the registry and it was fine, but it turns out amqxmson.dll was
missing!
I copied from the prod system at the same level, and it is all better.

If you configure the MQOutput Node to Generate a new MsgID. Is there a way
to trap the MsgId coming back from an MQOutput node (like when returning
when using a PROPAGATE in a compute node) so the generated MSGID can be used
in the following PROPAGATE'd messages from the COMPUTE node?
Good call - we suggested that DCE be removed, and after IBM made the *same*
suggestion, they removed MQ 5.3 with DCE (luckily they weren't using DCE)
and reinstalled 5.3 without DCE.
The exits now load fine.
Thanks

3 hours later we start another BMP with low/mi

Hi,
My questions concern MQS 5.1 for OpenVMS.
I'm going to disable global buffering by deassigning of logicals
MQS_LOG_GBC and MQS_Q_GBC
and let them stay unassigned.
The questions:
1. I'm going to change file attribute GBC for all existing log files.
(set file /attr=gbc:0 s*.log;*).
