The way to do it might be using the cluster workload exit for routing the
messages.
Using this exit you can deside where you want to send the message It's
all yours.
Your setup seems to be quite complicated... so your job is safe ;o)
Just my $0.02 ;o)

Hello,
There are two different physical sites that host three WMQ 'overlapping' cluster queue managers and five cluster queue managers.
That is to say in Site A, there are 3 overlapping queue managers that reside in cluster Y and cluster Z. Also, in cluster Z there are 5 cluster queue managers in

Hi, Peter.
You are right,:
have you considered using the MQ-IMS bridge, that
definitely
supports conversational programming, there is a section on it in the MQ
application programming guide.
The supplied trigger monitor (CSQQTRMN) doesn't supports
IMS conversation

When you make QM1 (on server 1) a member of a cluster, you define the CLUSRCVR (like TO.QM1) on QM1, which has the connection name and port number (like server1(1414)). This is the channel
Do you really want to be writing your own file transfer software when
there are off-the-shelf products ?

Take a look at support pack MA0M which points to:

which is a freeware open source FT tool for MQ.

There used to be a support pack for OS/2 that did file transfer. Don't
know if it supplied the source code but take a look. Also, WMQI has file
transfer nodes you can utilize.

Has anyone ever seen
this code in the MQDLH-Reason code?
The manual says we
have deleted a clusrcvr channel while BIND_ON_OPEN messages still existed on the
cluster transmit queue. The remote server was down but we don't
believe we have deleted the clusrcvr channel.

Hi Siva,
The X2 return code means the first ISRT call to the altpcb is not a SPA.
In a conversational txn you must isrt the SPA first then the message.
Its the trigger monitor that's doing the insert and I'm not sure that
the supplied trigger monitor (CSQQTRMN) supports that or how a

You have a number of options depending of the level of MQ you are running,
and whether you need to have the messages encrypted on the queues as well as
while traversing the channels.
If you're only concerned to protect data flowing over the channel:
a) If running MQ 5.3, and the free SSL implemen
Hi Leonardo,
If you are using MQSeries 5.3 then you
can use SSL to encrypt and decrypt messages over channel, thereby providing
link level security. Please refer to Webshpere MQ Security manual for more
details as to how to setup the same.
Hope this helps.

G'Day,
There is sample code in a redbook for doing this, but I can't remember what
it's called. I'll chase around tonight and see if I can find it.
Basically, you segment the file into a memory buffer and add yor own header
to the front, this then gives you 4Mb messages that can be re-assembled o
Hi All,
Does anyone have some sample code, suggestions or recommended techniques
that they are willing to share to do file transfer of large (120MB) drawing
