Does anyone have XA coordination set up with the QMGR as the Trasaction MGR. After setting the qm.ini and restarting the QM do you se a message in the LOG file. I know you see a message if it fails...but do you see something when it successfully connects at startup???

Are you sure that you're compiling and linking the client app correctly for 64 bit? I think for a regular app (not a shared lib) you need to use: c89 +DD64 -c -D_HPUX_SOURCE -o appl.o appl.c -I/opt/mqm/inc64 You also need to link with options: for non-threaded: +noenvvar appl.o -o appl -L/opt
