Francois,
Requestor channels can start channels of either SDR
or SVR type. Definitely
set the AdoptNewMCACheck to ALL unless you have some
specific reason to do
otherwise.

On MQ53.3 for NT
AdoptNewMCA: Stops previous process if channel fails
to start. Allows you to control the end of an existing
process and start up a new one of a specified
channel type .
I guess, I am not quite sure what is meant by
adopting a specified channel type . For instance, if
I know that, thanks... The queue manager has to be
defined accordingly too. My questions was only if JMS
had its own size limitation.

Hi Listers,
We are on WMQ 5.3 on NT and 5.3 on OS/390.
I am not an experienced MQ administrator. I have just
been asked to automate some of the activities. For
instance when a certain error occurs what kind of
action should be taken automatically? Should it be
displayed on the operator console
consecutive checks, the application people get
paged.

I have installed MQ 5.3 on my Win2000. When I start a
new project in VB and display the Object Browser, I
don't see any of the MQ classes. What should I do so
that I have access to these classes from any new
project I start? I set the PATH variable to point to
the INCLUDE lib of VB that came with
