Ed,
I was working on a project a couple of years ago where we tried to mirror the MQ logs
(journal files) using Mimix for recovery purposes. This was never implemented because
apparently the type of records that MQ uses were not supported by Mimix (sorry for the
vagueness - I'm not an AS/400 pe
Hi all,
Thanks for the confirmations. I couldn't find the passage that Ruzi quoted in the
Clusters manual so I downloaded the latest one and sure enough it's a new addition,
although it seems like such an important point I'm surprised it's taken so long to get
a mention in the manual (Dec 2002)

Hi
all,
I've been doing some
work on trying to secure our cluster queues. From the Clusters
manual:
"[On non-z/Os

individual queues that do not exist on your queue manager. However, you can restrict access to all the
queues in a clu

person to ask for this feature. All I can say is that it's on the requirements list
for the next release of MQIPT if and when there is one. Sorry I can't be more
exact.

Hi all,
Just a quick question about what people are using to connect JD Edwards Oneworld
with MQSeries out in the real world - homegrown software, off-the-shelf adapter
etc?
We've got JDE Oneworld Xe Update 7 if that means anything.
All responses gratefully accepted.

Hi all,
I'm going to be installing WMQ 5.3 onto a Solaris machine running JDE Oneworld
Xe Update 7 in preparation for creating an MQ-JDE Adaptor.
Anybody have any war stories, gotchas, good/bad experiences etc that might be
helpful?

I know almost nothing about RPG but have to find out the feasability of

Can an RPG/400 program call an ILE C program to do the MQ Conn and Open, and
then call another C program to do the MQPuts?

I guess to take it a step further, if all PubSub applications are designed to

Couldn't find this on a search of the list which surprised me.
The WMQI 2.1 Admin Guide recommends backing up a specific set of tables in the
broker database to be used to restore in case of breakage. I understand that

Hi all,
Is it possible to run 2 brokers (on AIX in this case) at the same time with one
broker using DB2 and the other using Oracle for its permanent store database?
I'm on WMQI 2.1 if that matters.

As the subject says, I'm trying to install WMQI 2.1 onto AIX 4.3.3.
Unfortunately it keeps telling me that Java 1.3.0.10 is a missing requisite,

Has anyone installed WMQI 2.1 with Java 1.3.1?
