David,
Good question. And it got my wheels
to turning. Upon further investigation with developer it seems that VA
Smalltalk uses the regular C client bindings. This potentially
will allow us to configure SSL outside Smalltalk. We're looking into this.
If anyone's interested I'll post the results.
Has anyone looked into whether Smalltalk
(IBM VA Smalltalk 6.0.x specifically) can be used to connect to a SVRCONN
with SSL setup?

understand this better. There appeared to be no response to the original

Looking at using channel exits to perform audits of connections coming into
an MQ manager, is there any way to inquire/access the actual distinguished
name values (SSL Peer) of the verified partner? Here's the scenario: We'd
like to setup to allow multiple clients to connect to the same SVRCONN
.

Does anyone have experience with MQ with Veritas clustering on IBM/AIX
hardware, specifically? Any positive/negative observations? Any pointers to
Veritas versus HACMP for IBM equipment and MQ?
Hope this makes sense. Any help/pointers are appreciated.
