after that if it is a laptop.

Has anyone been able to find the winpe drivers for the NIC. I have downloaded
the sccm pkg from Lenovo and the individual driver from Intel and neither
works. I boot to command prompt and get Windows IP Configuration at ipconfig.
The driver has been added to the boot image.
Thanks.
Latisha
Are you using with Windows 8 / 8.1 NIC driver for the I217LM in your boot
image? Win PE 5.0 uses Windows 8 drivers rather than the Windows 7 drivers.

So you are seeing network information assigned to the NIC after the boot into
WinPE and you have verified this by hitting F8 and doing an ipconfig, however
the driver is not being injected into Windows 7 during PNP by Configuration
Manager? Is that my understanding of the problem?

No, there is is no IP assigned after boot into winpe

OK - sorry I was a little confused.
So if you're not getting an IP - I will go back to my original statement - make
sure you are adding the x64 Windows 8.1 x64 NIC driver for the I217LM to your
x64 boot image and not any previous OS version. If you are using an x86 boot
