if you need to rebuild a secondary site in SCCM 2007 you'll have to
completely re-install the server.
In case you cannot delete the site from the Console then you can use
delsite tool.

Did you assign a primary device for all your users?
If so then configure the deployment type requirements to install only if
primary user = true

Hi Bradley,
the cache is managed entirely by SCCM.
Once cache provisioned space is reached then sccm agent deletes some old
cache to get enough space for the newly advertised one.
I have no clue why the old cache is kept. The only way i see where a
package will regain its old version number would
Did you set the Site Code using a GPO in a previous architecture?
If so, you need to delete these registry keys :

What did you insert in your SCCM Task Sequence for the Domain OU?
If you want to build computers and that they enter the Default "Computers"
container then this box should be empty and you shouldn't select any OU.

Moving everything wouldn't be that hard. Just need to configure inside SQL
management studio.
He's a real DBA? Because installing SQL entirely on the same drive ils
against everything he learned in the past.

Hi,
Try to look at the appenforce and appdiscovery log on your client.

If you setup a GPO pointing to a specific sup server then you have to be
sure that the client are assigned with this SUP in SCCM.
Else you will get error messages like the one you just posted.
Verify the boundaries and your internal sup configuration (make sure that
it accepts both http and https
What about using some powershell scripts?
Try Powershell App Deployment Toolkit then go to discussions ans check

Try to add a comment on the package and update the distribution point.

What we've done in a previous implementation was the following:
Create a task sequence to deploy a windows 7 computer.
Script to copy a package list to the SMSPKG$
Send the machine to the remote location
Once client is back up we would declare it as BDP in Sccm.

I think what is needed is to find thé specific distribution point assigned
to a machine.
What i would advise would be to parse the logs to find the required
information.
DP location is not stored as it is evaluated for each download.
