It's not a clone, it's an advanced VDP, as far as I know. And by having ESE
developing it, things will probably become less expensive and also the
copyright-part would get a lot more comfortable.

Well, call it curious, but I like to see what I bought, however The eprom
wasn't protected against sunlight, so it was empty in no-time :(
For that reason I just removed the whole eprom as well. I didn't know how to
make a backup at the time so I'd be grateful when I get that rom image
again.

I'm the proud owner of that module myself. I still have the documentation
and I do know how to use it without the built-in program. I will gather the
info for you and I want to ask you to send me a backup of the rom as I
thouroghly removed the code from the rom and the rom from the PCB
