Hi all,
Some of you will think: After the fair in Tilburg, I've nothing
heard about the new version of Meridian 3.0. Has the development
of Meridian been stopped?
NO, of course not. At the moment I'm very busy programming on
Meridian and I think it would be a good thing to release a full

Hi all,
I've updated the site www.meridian.msx2.com
All links on the downloadpage are functional.
Because the lack of time, the screenshots haven't been updated yet, but that will
follow for sure.
The downloadable version of Meridian 3.0 is the beta version.
I hope to show you the version with f

Coming next fiar in Tilburg, I'll release the beta version of

Hi all,
I'm glad to hear so much reactions on the demo of Meridian 3.0

Hi all,
I decided to drop the dutch variant of the Meridian site.
Despite of all the work I invested in it, I don't think it
adds some special features. Because all dutch msx users can
read and write english (can they? yes, they can!), the
dutch variant will go down one of these days.

Hi all,
The development of the routines to support the Moonsound is
going well. The following functions are working fine:
- Tone editor for editing 200 two-operator FM-tones
- Tone editor for editing 200 four-operator FM-tones
- Tone editor for editing 384 ROM and 128 RAM PCM-tones.
Of course,

That was the thing I had in mind. In de tone editors (2-Op FM,
4-Op FM and Wave) you can create the 'basic' sound. Here you
can set the 'color' of the sound, e.g. waveform, attack, decay,

Hi all,
At the moment I'm very busy working on Meridian 2.2 to intgrate
the MoonSound into it. The playroutines in Meridian has been
prepared to handle all channels in the MoonSound. The technique
I will use is called DCA (Dynamic Channel Assignment). This
means that the wave and FM channels are n
Hi all,
Thanx for all the reactions. I will support the Moonsound
in Meridian: Wave and FM.
Sander Zuidema (aka Snout) gave me the possibility to use
his Moonsound. Thanx in advance.
At the moment I think I have enough information for the
OPL4 part (wave) of the Moonsound. I still don't have an

Hi all,
I was wondering if there are Moonsound users who are
satisfied with the existing editors for the Moonsound.
As far as I know only Moonblaser can be used for editting
songs for the Moonsound. But I can be wrong...
At this moment I have finished routines for loading songs
in MWM and MFM fo
Hi all,
At the moment I'm working on the part for loading Moonblaster
files in Meridian 2.2. Files in the format of Moonblaster and
Moonblaster for Moonsound Wave won't be any problem, but the
files in the format of Moonblaster for Moonsound FM will.
Does anyone know how such a file is built up?
Hi all,
I was wondering if there is someone who is interested in the
sources of Meridian. This doesn't mean I would quit the development
of Meridian, but I've heard that some people are interested
in the window-engine.
If there is someone interested, please let me know and how
he/she prefers wha

I'm sorry, I don't have them because I wrote a program
that reads 2 .bin files, analyzes them and writes them
to a .com file including a routine to move the data
from #0100 to #4000.

Hey David,
I have been busy converting a lot of 32K games to .com so
you can launch them from DOS. Knightlore is one of them.
