I would agree. I think assigning gender to a group would be a Bad Idea. It's likely to be a giant headache populating, gathering and vetting and an even bigger headache managing the information temporally. What happens when the lineup changes and suddenly a "male group" picks up a female lead? How

Okay, so it sounds like we all agree that there are cases where creating a separate and distinct is storing important information. I've not heard a argument, compelling or otherwise, that suggests that it's important to store multi-LP releases where there is not some unique and distinct difference
