I have tried to find some examples to work out what is wrong and what is right.
It seems that only the current release-group-URL IMDb AR is wrong.

I think the original argument was that the abbreviated forms in these
two cases were much more common. That doesn't seem to be the case
though. Use Last.fm to compare traditional [1] with trad. [2]... I
see no reason not to be consistent with our no-abbreviations-rule
here! (wow, 3 negations)
