Hi You all,
I wonder, if I could use a my_hdr-command in my .muttrc defaultly like
send-hook . "my_hdr Return-Receipt-To: "
and appending the specific email-adress in my editor, when I want to
get a return-receipt?
Just like the Cc:, Bcc: or Reply-To: .
Using a send-hook defined above, my mutt

You can have that by setting the order to "unsorted" (which obviously

I'm a `old mutt' user (mutt-0.74) and need to attach a
PDF file for an out-going mail. Quickly checked doc's for
mutt-0.74 and mutt home page, but didn't find immediate info
on whether this is possible or how. Any quick hint/pointer
would be appreciated!!

When I try to save/copy msgs from my imap inbox to local folders (in my

No msg gets written to such folders (not even my outgoing messages). Also,

Sorry about my opaque query - the problem is that the
PDF file that gets attached (with 'a' or -a) becomes
unreadable when received. I looked for handling files

The problem you're having is not a mutt problem. It's not your mail reader as much as
it is your delivery agent (i.e., procmail or something like it). I've got a few
recipes in procmail I use to work with these 'attachments'. If you're interested,
email me offline and I'll share them with you.
