Anybody else have any ideas?

Dunno if anybody else has seen this or not...and I didn't see anything
in the archives. I compiled 1.3.23i and then patched in the 1.3.23
VVV NNTP patch and recompiled with the --enable-nntp configure flag.
When I run this new binary my .muttrc is not read in (none of my
color settings are used)
Is there any documentation on adding config info to the .muttrc for
the VVV NNTP patch and also how to use mutt as a news reader? I
trolled through the archives this morning and didn't find anything.
Thanks,

What I'd like to know is how folks output their kernel version and
system uptime in their .sig?

OK...I don't see it anywhere in the man pages or the Mutt manual. Is
there a way to subscribe to newsgroups through the use of Mutt...or
view newsgroups in Mutt...like if I want to sign up for
alt.comp.os.linux or something?
Thanks,

This is very easy to do. I have a .mutt directory with files that I
'source' from my .muttrc. For example, I have a file .mutt/headers
that I call from my .muttrc as follows:
source ~/.mutt/headers # Configure header display
and it looks like this:
# -*- muttrc -*-
#
# Configure head
