Ok I've uploaded a dongle that shouldn't work when channels are changed but rather spew lots of additional debug traces in the now suspect section of code.

I picked up a rev D3A version of the mediaMVP
with the version 1.0 software I downloaded a couple of later versions but
found the mvpmc appears to be a better option if only i could set it up :)
