I was using a daily build from January and most things worked, except I got
errors scheduling recordings (protocol v40 maybe?). Today's daily build
fixed that.

Oh, they released that? As far as I'm aware the answer to this is yes
(with 1 caveat). I'm running a pre-release version of mythtv-0.21 from
about 6 weeks ago without any major issues. The only problem I'm aware
