Don't use the Next Actions filter if it bugs you. If you look up in
MLO's help file, it will explain that the Next Action filter will
place only one (first) active task for each project. If you do not
want this view, then try another approach.

What really bugs me is that next actions filter behaves as though all
the tasks are set to 'complete subtasks in order'. That way if the
first subtasks has not started yet, has dependency or belongs to a
closed context none of the remaining tasks in the project will appear

the task regeneration interval.
