I have just double checked and WiFi sync works for me on Windows 8 Consumer
Preview build 8250.
I am an Administrator on this computer.
Here are the steps I did:
1) Downloaded MLO in zip file from our website.
2) Unpacked the zip file to any folder
3) Run MLO (Windows 8 prevented the st
Hi Andrey,
I followed your steps. Including firewall settings and running as an admin.
The PIN entry dialog doesn't pop up. The Android-MLO first showing the pin
which should be entered in (the never appearing) dialog box on my desktop.
After a while it shows, that it could not reach my pc.
As
It was immediately following a sync with MLO cloud. I killed the
application from Task Manager and restarted it, haven't had an issue since.
If it pops up again, I will email you the error codes and some screen
shots. Thanks for the help, I love MLO and can't wait to play with MLO4

You can filter on the parent contexts

I still had no luck when I tried it as Administrator and also if I tried
running it from the zip, rather than from the installation. I basically got
up to your step 5, but then didn't see the PIN dialog again.
Maybe there is a subtle difference preventing it in the release version as

The other thing I was wondering if the Windows 8 Pro upgrade could have
done something different to just a clean install of it, which is probably
what your Consumer Preview probably was.
