Good afternoon all! My partner and I are looking into getting a scheduling
program, one with a schedule+to-do-list+calendar that we can both edit
easily across devices. After combing through the recommendation lists, I
hit MLO and have gotten intrigued, especially since I'm very interested in
Jon,
Thank you! I like your distinction that a project has a start and expected
finish date. I've been a bit inconsistent on what I make a project. I use a
combination of GTD and FranklinCovey so its engrained in me that anything
with multiple next actions is a Project, but practically is it?
Unfortunately WiFi Sync sucks, it's not practical. And that's a MLO
expressive disadvantage for non-cloud users.

Hello Jon,
If you're a user of the classic "GTD" method, then you should avoid setting
any dates other than hard deadline dates (the ones where "after this date,
the task is invalid because it's too late"). Treating due dates as absolute
means that they should always be set ahead of undated item
WiFi sync is a direct sync between your mobile device and the file on your
laptop. It has its limitations, though - the main one of these being that
you have to set it up as if synching to a new file every time your laptop
WiFi network changes or IP address gets reassigned.
There isn't an optio
Agreed. If all of the properties columns in the main pane had selection
lists, it would be far more consistent.
Hopefully Andrey's team has this on the wish-list.
