@Steph - When you say "branch in outline for areas of life" what exactly do
you mean?
Do they show up under Outline -> All Tasks, Projects, My Goals, Review,
[Your Areas of Life] ? How do they show up under it? Do you have specific
contexts for it?

Update: I think I might have found a working solution by using the above
mentioned (not(Complete)) OR (ProjectName is not empty) advanced filter,
but unticking child items under General > Hierarchy Configuration. (So now
they are only included if they actually match the filter! 💡)

I know there are reasons not to give an option to sync MLO with Google
calendar out of the box due to some constraints from google calendar.
Is there any workaround to do this despite of that? I tend to forget to do
this manually which always keeps me off the track most of the times!
