I do this in the Android version, in the Starred View. Is there a way to do
this in the Desktop version? I'm sure I am missing something obvious!
Thanks.

Yes, I meant that status bar. I just saw the messages you mentioned
appear. It's nice to see something there, but none of it seems
necessary - there is a popup during syncing so I'd be happy not to
have the status bar at all!

Yes it does help. I don't use projects, hence the status bar is always
empty. Maybe I'll suggest to the developer the option to hide the
status bar.
Thanks for clarifying.

I've been wondering what it's for. The only thread I can find in this
Group is from 2005. I there some way to hide it, as it is always blank
on my screen?
If it were possible to display the number of items show, total items
in file, etc, then it would be useful.

I am enjoying the latest desktop version (thank you) but will not be
upgrading my mobile MLO while it relies on a separate synchronization

I now have several smallish MLO files, and sync the inbox from each
with an in-between inbox file. Sometimes I forget to press F9 and the
files get out of kilter. Is there some way to make this happen
automatically, e.g. each time I open and close a file?

Also to remove Expand All from its current place so that it is not
chosen by accident. Collapse All is the main one we frequently need.

Perhaps suggest item text wrapping (optionally) as LifeBalance did on

In the meantime, maybe this will help - problems I had made me split
my file up in to a few, which meant I had multiple inboxes which led
to issues . . .
So I now have a separate inbox file, consisting only of an
branch which synchronizes to the branches in the other files.
You could use
This has been mentioned before, but as iwantsandy is going to close
soon, it would be nice to have this facility in MLO. I appreciate
there are particular considerations with gmail.

I agree - I assume you have you set the option to Close dialog after
adding tasks? (Tools, Options, General Application Options, Rapid Task
Entry dialog.)
Rapid inboxing is really important, I would like to add the request

I'm having to think of going to lower tech methods, as my objective is
to spend time doing tasks rather than rebuilding data.

It seems there is or will be a Windows Mobile emulator for the iPhone.
Presumably MLO for Pocket PC works on this emulator. Synchtonization
is perhaps another matter.
The emulator is shown in the second segment of this video:

I like to keep a separate checklist file open while I'm using my main
MLO data file, but doing so slows down RTE as I am required to select
the main file first from a pop-up menu. It would be great if I could
disable RTE for the checklist.
Does anyone else find this an issue? Perhaps I should try

I have found it helpful to keep MLOWMSync disabled, enabling it only
for the period of synchronization.
I'm currently trying out WM6 in the hope I can leave MLOWMSync
enabled.

I find MLO very good already for DIT. I would just ask for more
attention to the freezing issue on connected Pocket PC phones after a
sync has taken place. Generally syncing seems to be prone to
challenges and today I temporarily moved to Todoist while sorting
issues out. Now I have reduced my dat
After many months of my Pocket PC freezing after an MLO sync, I

regular daily use a la Mark Forster/D.I.T.
Unfortunately sync no longer completes.
I then decided to set up a working connection between two empty MLO
