The second part about not wanting to add colour because the algorithm and
associated coding would be too taxing for the modern smartphone is perplexing
but my knowledge of programing stops at fortran and machine code.

This may be an oversight in the new Android version.
In the old version Active tasks where black and inactive where grey. This
allowed a quick visual on where notes/ tasks delayed/ etc...
also colour is not used to identify tasks in any way in V2 which would be a
huge advantage to get a visua
In the old android version you hold down the task then select "Add to the
calendar..." which brings up your calendar dialogue box... V2 has deleted this
feature... Strange... since having the calendar is a selling point?!

I eventually got a working system happening by dumping all files and cloud sync
files (I use 3 devices) . Then started again with new files. I lost a bit of
data but it could have been worse. The annoying thing is the time spent. The
