We are looking to convert all ISAM tables to the new type MYISAM
Has anyone else converted all tables in all their databases in one fell
swoop to
a new type? using the alter table command.

There are no cron jobs that do anything that looks like mysqldump,
mysqlhotcopy etc.
Please let me know if I am completely off base here. A plain old UNIX
backup won't work right?
