I'm currently writing a tool for managing time during a competition. My
problem is, that I want to save the time with the fraction of seconds.
as far as I know MySQL is fine with something like D HH:MM:SS.fraction,
but doesn't store the fraction. Is there anything that could fix that
of expr. It doesn't mention STD()/STDDEV() at
all.
so here is my question: is STD()/STDDEV() already implemented in 4.0.x or
only in 4.1?

I'm not exactly sure whether this will work on UNIX but on Linux it's
just
type cpan in your console
than you should get the cpan console
there you can search with i /dbi::mysql/ for your module
and install #module name# gets you the module.
