I just loaded mySql on windows98.
I try to run it and I get the following messages:
C:\mysql\bin>mysqld --standalone --console

I do not get a prompt back. I assume
can you help me with mySql control console.
it is presenting me with a window to register a server.
I am running mySql locally on my workstation.
It wants a Name for the server. I called it TestMySql
