I am unable to connect to mysql 5.1 with phpmyadmin 2.10.2 on win2k running
php 5.2.3.
I get the following errors:-

reported encountering similar problems so I thought I'd try a source

Hi, Can anyone help please, I am trying to install 4.1 onto this machine as
a windows service but installation will not proceed and I get the message:-
"Resource messagedlg-confirmation not found"

I am trying to install Mysql 4.1 on a Toshiba laptop running XP, when I get
to the stage of specifying "install as Windows service" and "include Bin
directory in Windows PATH" the installation halts.
Can anyone advise how to overcome this problem / what is causing it, please?

I realise this is essentially a design question, but given the way MySQL
works I just wanted to check if anyone out there has done something similar.
