lower case ( our standard is to use CAPS for tablenames )

I use phpBB.
When I change default character set in mysql I have a problem in phpBB so:
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in
/../functions.php on line 230
Unable to query db!
But /../admin/index.php regularly runs.
What my problem is?

I'm installing mysql-3.23.45 on Sparc 20 with Solaris 2.5 and when
