I've never used windows MYSQL, but both solaris and linux work with up/down arrow keys to recall, edit, etc previous commands. Uses the std emacs editing keys with a 1 line buffer. Hmmm. Do F1 or F3 produce the last command given? -- Ray Thompson > > > >I remember in WIN NT 4
