You can find out your current path settings by typing path at a DOS
prompt, and you can add your own by modifying your autoexec.bat file.

mysql book with a CD. I loaded the 3.22 versions to a windows and
also to a Linux machine. It took me quite a while to determine
where the files were located on the Linux machine as the installation

i installed MySQL from the Tenon site into OS X pb with the installer.app.
then i did the following:
[doria:~] root# cd /usr/local/mysql
[doria:/usr/local/mysql] root# scripts/mysql_install_db
To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy support-files/mysql.server
to the right place for your
