casper (1.298) precise; urgency=low
* Write out a new casper.conf with derivative values if they've been changed.
- Fixes applications that parse /etc/casper.conf from breaking.
- This can be reverted after the livecd-root
I've added a temporary workaround for casper that makes the changes in
the casper.conf in the initrd (as well as livefs) until this can be
fixed directly in livecd-rootfs.
This will unbreak any applications that were parsing casper.conf to find
the proper values to be using for now.

I just tried running today's daily and didn't hit this problem (but hit
some others). I'm suspecting it was a transient ubiquity bug. Would
you mind testing on the next daily image that includes mythbuntu-live-
autostart 0.60 or later. Hopefully that should be either the 1/17 or
1/18 images.

Finally managed to solve it.
After digging deep into the backend invocation and looking an strace
dump, it became clear that a DL depdency (libGL.so) could not be
resolved as this library is residing in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/mesa
in my 11.10 installation. Adding a suitable LD_LIBRARY_PATH sett
