Something I discovered and wanted to pass on in case anybody else runs into it.
With imagemagick-6.2.4.2-r1 on Gentoo (that
release recently came out), MythBurn (really ImageMagick I think) doesn't put
the title/subtitle on the DVD, instead it puts
the path and name of the file that should cont

We all agree...
I think the lists should be sorted by the originalairdate if available
or the recording date if not, all in the same direction as the "Newest
recordings first" flag

Well then there is a touch of human factors to consider. If that
checkbox is supposed to have nothing to do with the drop down list, it
needs to be a little more separated from it. Right now, it looks like a
simple ascending/descending flag to me.

Hi,
I've upgraded from 0.18 fixes branch to svn revision 7626, programs
I've recorded tonight are playing fine but all old recordings are a bit
messed up.

When I jump to LiveTV, a picture shows up. However, when I change to
another channel, the screen goes blank and when it comes back I see
the previous channel AND I can see the change channel script executing
the needed digits on my IR remote. It's as if the LiveTV buffer is
being turned on again

Unless there was more to this log that is missing, it looks like MythTV
never got a signal lock while waiting for this recording to start. In
0.18 this was known as the empty recording problem. That is it would
create the file, but never fill it with data. Now it doesn't create
the file unless it

I can't help with the exact cause of the EIT related problems. My own
experience highlights an issue with how failed recordings are handled and I
believe that is part of the overall trouble.
In my case I'd knocked out the aerial connection by accident. It seems that
Myth will remain in a record

Hi,
I'm having similar issues with missed recordings that seem to have
started happening since the reasonably recent changes to the dvb code in
svn. However in my case I still get the problem with the DVB-
