so have deinterlacing turned off and have NVidia options:
Option "TVStandard" "PAL-B"
Option "TVOutFormat" "COMPOSITE"
YMMV.

With latest CVS, configure auto detects everything using /proc/cpuinfo
fine, but if you configure with --arch-c3-2, the ARCH_X86 is not set
in config.h and things consequently mis-compile. One way to fix this
is to add c3 and c3-2 to the list of x86_mmx_cpus, which seems to work.

I have been puzzeld for a while why watching live tv stoped working
for me. I have 2 DVB cards, one of which also has analog acture
capability. I eventually realized that the problem was because the
analog capture was selected (which has no input connected to it).
It turned out that I had "Avoid

I have just tested this with current cvs and get the following problems:
Live TV doesn't work at all with or without xvmc:

I tried to build with --compile-type=profile and notices that the -g
flag is used, but not -p or -pg. Changing configure to set
PROFILEFLAGS="-pg -DNDEBUG"
is not quite enough, since -fomit-frame-pointer is incompatible with -pg.
I made the following change to settings.pro

This patch seems to introduce a build error. osdxvmc.h should be in HEADERS
and the .cpp should be in SOURCES:
--- libs/libmythtv/l
OK I've tried the -Os option and I still don't have sufficient
reources to do software decoding. I used to be able to watch live tv,
of play back recordings quite smoothly using CVS of about a week ago.
Sooo. I conclude that something is less efficient than it used to be!
