You should be able to mount jfs since jfs file-system module is
installed with kernel itself. any way try installing jfsutils from
fedora cd/dvd.

For some reason on 2 free to air channels the whole program records
but the skip ahead time only says 2 minutes or so. I have tried
running the mysql fixes but nothing has changed yet ? Any ideas ?

You need to download and install the LCDProc software.
http://lcdproc.omnipotent.net/?continue=yes
You then setup the config file /etc/LCDd.conf - and make sure you
specify the com port you have the panel connected to.
Once the LCDd daemon is running, Myth will connect to it as a client.

So, I'm looking at it again. My goal is to demo MythTV using an old
motherboard I have laying around, and if it does everything I need, replace
my Tivo (maybe with a backend slave/frontend for a second room).

I copied that file to the appropriate directory then i deleted the
tuner settings in mythtv then i probed for ivtv cards and ran myttv
setup again using the / setting and i still cannot watch tv.

another option for pvr250-350 (or something like that) its the one to
use anyway.

It looks as though osd.xml has the same way to set the fonts. All of them
seem to be labeled . I guess it's a little trial
and error or touch and go or give and take from there!

With various experiments and the like, I've managed to accumulate
several encoders in my mythbackend status window. While it isn't a big
deal for all of them to be there, I would like to be able to delete
the erroneous ones.
How would I go about doing so?
