Are you using a plasma tv. They do send off a considerable amount
of light that is borderline on the ir ranges. Maybe your remote
is sending out the same command and you tv is adding garbage. Try
moving your sensor.

I have been trying to setup xmame and lirc so I can exit a game without
having to use the keyboard. ie. just using the remote but I can't work
out how to get lirc to tell mame to exit.
Any ideas how i can get this to work?

I have a pvr-150, p3 850, and 320 MB of memory. I have no problem
recording and playing back with mythtv. Only a skip every now and then
during playback when other processes fight for the cpu.

Guys, I think this patch broke my LCD fucntionality. I have a 2x16,
and now when I let the machine idle (expecting it to display the time)
it will shuffle through seemly-random LCD displays that once were on

kernel has jfs support by default. perhaps you need to pass it a boot
time argument to enable jfs support. also did you try just fsck on the

The tv-out is working splendidly, however I cannot watch tv. Myth
will record a show just fine (can see it in the recoded progams and
mythweb) However when I try to watch the recording All I get is a
blank screen. no audio. If I try to watch live tv all I get is a

I captured the output of "mythfrontend -v all" because I only get a
black screen and an unresponsive computer if I try to view any video in
mythtv. I can record just fine. I can view the mythtv
recorded files with mplayer with sound. I can do a mplayer
/dev/video0 and that works fine video an al

receiver that came with your PVR-150. No extra
expense there. In order to get the extra buttons to
work, you might need a different remote though. (But,
remotes can be cheap - the URC-6131 that I use is only

Use the web interface to configure the jump point keys. I did the same with the PVR350 remote. I had a problem with the optical disk play though. It didn't work so well when there was no DVD in it.
