Can you tell me what versions of linux and alsa you are using? Also,

It does nothing. It does not work at any connection speed
After I upgraded to 0.17 one of my frontend's sound did not work with
mythtv. All the shows sounded like chipmunk's talking. I changed all
the audio settings and nothing seem to fix it.
I was also thinking it was a gcc/configure/make/cpu problem, but I
copied all the programs and library's from
