Hi. I've been using MythTV for over a year now with a
PVR-250.
However, I can't get my new pcHDTV 3000 to work.
I compile with the DVB modules.
/var/log/message:

The atscscan doesn't generate any more messages, including any
possible errors loading the firmware.
Thanks!

Oh be nice. This is fixed in CVS.
Anyone who updated their QT to 3.4 had this problem.
I *think* it was 3.3.4, wasn't it?
Anyway, to the original poster; you can find instructions on how to work
around the problem on FC3 (by downgrading Qt) in
I just go done reinstalling mythtv 0.17 after my
disk crashed (Maxtor SATA).
However, after running mythfilldatabase *several*
times, the program guide is off by one hour!!!
I use Zap2It, and I'm (now) in CDT.
Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know
how to fix it??
Thanks!

I just called comcast and they're telling me they only have SA 2000,

also just vent, quickly.
The problem isn't with Suse directly. It's with QT.
QT on Suse is not compiled with database support
or threads.
Simply download QT 3.3.4, configure, compile, install.
Then link /usr/lib/qt3 to /usr/local/qt (from the QT install)
and you're good to go.
This is what it took to get MythTV running
Hi everyone. One more try.
Appently this must be a new problem.
I've had MythTV 0.16 and 0.17 working
for many months at 1024x768. See:
http://www.emike.org/mythtv/good.jpg
I added a ModeLine to my xorg.conf:
ModeLine 1366x768_60 88.69 1366 1460 1608 1850768 773
775 799 +hsync
I upgraded to QT 3.3.4 and the problem (so far)
is gone.

I finally figured out how to add ModLine to my xorg.conf
file for my Fujitsu 50 plasma ;-)
I was running at 1024x768 (everything was fine!). Now I'm
at 1366x768 and mythfrontend GUI is totally messed up on
the screen. I get no background, the Icons and the current
menu selection don't get erased

I just hooked my frontend box up to my very old Sony CRT Video Projector (Circa 1986) via VGA and a special modeline to generate 15khz output (768x483 @ 59.94Hz Interlaced). I had to use an old Matrox video card that would sync down to 15khz and generate
