Brad, Why do you need to use both the PVR350 audio output and your sound cards output? Is that the only way to hear audio when you are using mplayer, or could you not redirect sound to the PVR350 sound out when using mplayer? As you can tell I haven't ventured into playing with this aspect of M

Yup, works perfect (see attached) I would assume that you have followed Jarad Wilson's guide in this matter? One thing I missed in his guide at first is a patch you need to apply to /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit. Without that patch, you will need to load lirc by hand after every reboot: $ /sbin/insmod l
