Estou tentando instalar o Nagios em um Linux Red Hat 9, até agora deu tudo
certo.
Quando vou executar o seguinte comando para verificar se os arquivos estão
corretos:
/usr/local/bin/nagios -v /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
ele retorna com o seguinte erro:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]#

Eu tenho alguns equipamentos que enviam traps quando ocorre alguma falha.
Então eu defini um serviço passivo para eles.
Utilizei os programas Net-SNMP, SNMPTT e SEC. Ele está conseguindo traduzir
as Mibs tudo certo e quando chegam as traps ele as identifica, da para ver
elas no /var/log/messages.

Im trying to install ndoutils on my SLES 9.2 box and getting an error
whilst doing a make. I see the following in my ./configure
Personally I prefer to compile from source as I know exactly what it
does and where things go.
I sorted it anyway, it was basically a config item that still read
nagios_group=nagios - I changed that to nagios_group=localservice
and the warning went away.

I get emails on my local machine its a sendmail option on the linux box
whenever a host goes down it sends it to nagios mailbox on the local
server cant i somehow redirect it so it can send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
