Hi All...
Can someone send me a snmpttunknown.log file. I would like to compare a
good log file to mine. I'm not sure that snmptt is configured correctly.
I seem to have all my traps logged as unknown. It seems that snmptt is
looking at the INTEGER and not the OID.
I have nothing being logged

Hi All...
I seem to have a problem with passive checks. When I look at the
Services Detail window in Nagios, all my passive checks are pending,
with a status of Service is not scheduled to be checked. I manually
submit a trap using the submit_check_result, the event shows in the log,
but the
then recognized the command and changed the status and sent a
notification.

Assuming this is Nagios 2.x, you don't have active_checks_enabled 1
in
your service definition (active checks are not enabled.)

Thank You Patrick for your help! After installing the Config::IniFiles
and the rest of the prerequisites... I am now able to receive traps!
Quick question... when I set the debugging on, I show all of my traps
as Unknown Traps. I was under the assumption
By any chance, is there a way to confirm that some of the traps are
being processed??

Hi all...
Has anyone be able to setup Net-SNMP and SNMPTT on a SuSe Lunix Box?
Ultimately I would like to receive Netware traps and have Nagios send out
notifications.
Has anyone successfully set this up?

Well for starters... non of the snmpt logs are being created, but I do see
the traps in the system log.
For some reason, I don't think I have net-snmp setup correctly.
Thanks for the help!
