By any chance, is there a way to confirm that some of the traps are

Interestingly, mine is set to daemon mode even though it is also
called by snmptrapd.conf.
Other than that, I don't see many differences between the two. The
question is, what are you wanting to do with these traps when you get
them - just log them? If that's the case you can try lessing the
sever

Well for starters... non of the snmpt logs are being created, but I do see the
traps in the system log.
For some reason, I don't think I have net-snmp setup correctly.

Has anyone be able to setup Net-SNMP and SNMPTT on a SuSe Lunix Box?
Ultimately I would like to receive Netware traps and have Nagios send out
notifications.
