Lynette, I know what your going through. Sorry I couldn't help. This may sound dumb but have you tried any kind of diaper rash cream. I know that Triple Paste worked wonders on my kids, if anything its an excellent barrier for water. Hope you find a remedy .

Pati, Yes, I did that on Sunday, but the only thing is that the plastic has irritated the wrist area now!! I need to go to Fredrick's of Hollywood or Vic's Secret for those above the elbow gloves!!! (JK) ;-) I can see today that the prednisone is starting to take effect. Ten days on that stuff.

Maggie, Thanks for that tip, but the second I put my hands in water the rash turns into what looks liek hives. They swell and turn beet red. I did buy mineral oil last week and was using that on my hands, but it did not help at all. I am grateful for all of you who are sending tips to help. Pat
