I have the iPhone and I book my clients appointments on here using the
calendar app that came with the phone and it works great. Especially
on the go. It can then be synced with your computer. Whether it's a
mac or PC.

Could you possibly pay for 1/2 of it?
Have you looked into insurance liability? As I think you will find that you
might want to increase it.
I hope she done her homework, as these machines all d
I would hate to loose an employee but you should get more then 20%. Will this
increase your insurance? I would insist on the 70%. I would love to just pay
someone 20% to work in their salon. If she wants that good of a deal then she
needs to pay a flat booth rent for her machine.

When I was an employee, we supplied all of our own equipment ("non-
perishables). The owner supplied all of the gel, files, polish etc. at
a 55/45 % split.
She can write it off on her taxes and her work life is better.

Depends. Out of that 30% are you still buying supplies? If not then 80% is
fair. Think hard before you pull the 'its my spa card'. Is it worth it to risk
losing an employee who has been with you for 'many years' over 10%?
Did she mention she was looking for one before she bought it? Had she ev

Just do it. Your clients will do just what you convince them will be good. Go

This is your spa. The employee should have talked with you first before she
purchased the machine and brought it into your spa. This is only good
business practice. You have the right to tell her that she cannot use the
machine in your spa and charge your clients a price unless she pays you 70%.

LOL, Bethany! I printed the directions given on this list in 2002, I believe,
it was..and FINALLY, in 2008, I was FORCED into it because the salon I had
moved to didn't have a sink large enough in which to fill the basin. It turned
out to be THE BEST change!!
