My point is that OPI would say what is in stores now is diverted. They are
going the way of Revlon and Maybelline. People are saying they still want to
retail OPI in the salon. Why not sell Wet and Wild and Revlon then too. What
happened to being salon exclusive? They got popular on the backs
I don't mind, I agree. I don't have to stock every color OPI carries and try to
compete with sales.

Since my clients have had access to OPI at Wal Mart they are loving the fact
that I use OPI on my salon.
They recognize the brand and to the general public brand recognition is
important.

That has happened already. In our small town Alco store started with the Katy
Perry collection, then shatters, muppets, holiday reds. Hair care products
(biolage, chi, bed head, etc) have been in walmart a long time.

selling polish in Walmart, etc. and they are dropping most of their
professional products. If this is the case I will no longer be using OPI.
