Since my clients have had access to OPI at Wal Mart they are loving the fact
that I use OPI on my salon.
They recognize the brand and to the general public brand recognition is
important.

They just released a huge new line of professional gel color... and have
been in retail stores for years.. I don't know who your source is, but
sounds questionable to me...

That has happened already. In our small town Alco store started with the Katy
Perry collection, then shatters, muppets, holiday reds. Hair care products
(biolage, chi, bed head, etc) have been in walmart a long time.
