The display itself is an IV-9 So, the carrot type of period/comma. The strange thing is the number of pins. Since they don’t fit for my projects, I haven’t gone through to see what each leg is in comparison. I thought it was a fluke to find one, but the count is now 6 out of 200. A

Tremendous respect Michael. I am currently redesigning a boost converter using a LM3478. It’s a surprisingly involved process, especially if not well acquainted with power circuitry. I’ve found that, between refinement of component values and board layout design, it’s very much an art and science.

Does it seem like the degree of glitching has been reduced, is the same, or worse with those 2 changes? An LM7805 could support your 5 volt rail depending on how you implement it. The higher the input voltage, the hotter it gets. If you can adjust your buck module to 8 volts, then put the 7805 aft

Hi Richard, What's the bandwidth of your scope? Is it a digital or an analog one? Did you check to not have bandwidth limit enabled when looking for noise in the lines? It could easily be that the scope is not up to snuff for the task of hunting for glitches. Also, did you check whether the
