Collectable stuff is out of the price range of most hobbiests and it isn't
getting any better with time. There are a couple people on this forum that
have bid prices to insane levels on auction items and then brag about it..
Haha, that was a joke referring to overblown hype. But construction
materials and labor are in short supply in the real world.

The first nixie clock I built was a two-tube design, though it's full of
