Dalibor's nixies are nearly the same size (50mm symbol height vs NL7037 51mm)
and 1/2 the price...

Greg, these are much bigger than IN-18 tubes. My favorite large Nixie.

Not my auction, but there are ten NL7037 tubes available individually, at
300 USD each. Personally I'll stick with the IN-18, as it's fairly close in
size, or a set of RZ568's with a 10-year warranty.

A much more appealing version than then mesh version I have here:

I also hope to end up with enough good tubes to make a clock. I'll let you
know.
Did you buy your 7971s from Pete? I just saw that he's selling quite a few!

I won the auction with the B-7032.
As a new collector I could not let them go.
Since I live in Europe, I won't receive the nixies right away.
I will post here once I have seen and tested them.

There are tricks I've discovered that allow one to see items that don't
ship to their country in ebay searches. One parameter that ebay fortunately
currently does NOT check with respect to location restrictions, is your IP
address. So, besides setting the "worldwide" radio button, other ways eba

one of them. Broken or not, they are still historic pieces. Please drop

Ouch! That auction ended at $373 (US). I think the consensus in this group
is that the tubes were near the end of their useful life. However, if
anyone here did end up buying them, please let us know their condition once
you get a chance to test them.

another limitation : the "shipping to" setting.
And for this setting there is no worldwide option.

Once you do a search for an item, and the results are displayed, then on
the left side of the screen under "ITEM LOCATION" select "worldwide". Ira.

I'm looking for a setting to search the whole (eBay) world, but I can't seem to

Or do you mean through Google?
Finding this setting would be very helpful. This way I d'on't have to search
through all the stores separately anymore.
Thanks

Yeah, same here, it is US only. Won't even ship to Canada, and I cannot

This is really a nice find... I got my B-7032 new in box, but I recall
seeing some severly darkened ones before as well. Do you guys know when
they were primarily in use? It seems they were replaced by the B-7037

Maybe Dalibor could replace the envelopes on these tubes? I'd really like
to see him try (and succeed). I have a batch of the same type, with the
same problem.
