the time passed since the snmp daemon has started:
1. why not return the real system uptime ? (as the MIB name suggests)
Because that's not what the sysUpTime value reports.

But the value of system uptime when the agent starts is 0,
by definition.

In the official portal of net-snmp we get to see change;Log for the latest
release.
But is there any link, or mailing list which gives updates about the recent
stable releases like 5.4.2.1?
